Have you ever driven out to Midway, Florida, just to see what was there? Here’s what I found. My guess would be that Peters Gro. has been out of business a long time. Supply and demand, I suppose.
In early 2020 I was on the way from the Folk Alliance International Conference in New Orleans to a few gigs I had around Orlando, Florida. On Interstate Highway 10, about halfway across the State of Florida, is a town called Midway. It must have taken a lot of planning to get this town in the right place. It’s not like you can build a town just anywhere and call it Midway.
Maybe the town was already there before I-10 was built, and all they had to do was change the name.
