Has anyone ever asked, “How many eyes did you see that with, and whose were they?” That is a rather silly question, eh?
Has anyone ever said, “I saw it with my own two eyes!”? I wonder how a statement like that ever came into being.

Caveman Two: “Tyrannosaurus? Ug, grunt. How many eyes did you see this with, and whose were they?”
Caveman One: “I saw it with my own two eyes!”
Caveman Two: “Well, that’s pretty convincing since you put it that way. Guess we’d better get some Tyrannosaurus Spray, huh? And stop calling me Rex.”

Well, here we are back in the real world, safe from Tyrannosaurus Rexes only because of a convincing statement by an ancient caveman, just before he was eaten by a Tyrannosaurus he was trying to spray.
