I’m just going to ramble a bit about hockey.
Of all the parrots I have known, the Winston-Salem Parrots were my favorite. These particular parrots migrated from St. Petersburg, FL during the winter ’02-03.
The jersey on the left was worn by goalie Dan McIntyre. I had to have it at the time. I admired him as a player and as a person. Now these two, along with a couple dozen other hockey jerseys, are in a large rubbermaid box in a closet with nowhere else to go. 
Just in case anyone sees this as a source for hockey information, all I know is that the NHL season starts January 13th and the Carolina Hurricanes play at Detroit on January 14th.
That’s all I’ve got to say about that. (Not really.)
