Pinocchio’s Paradox

Today is Saturday, April 10, 2021. Blog No. 289 (289 is not a prime number, 17 x 17). 

It’s raining. It has rained most of the day. That’s not a bad thing at all. I’ve gotten all the mowing done for the week. I’m inside and dry. I asked Siri, “Hey Siri, tell me a random fact.”

Have you ever wondered why bananas are curved? Because they grow toward the sun. 

Where is London Bridge? Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Here’s the one that rattles my head. What would happen if Pinocchio said, “My nose will grow now.”? 

 If Pinocchio says, “My nose will grow now,” then if it grows, his statement was not a lie. His nose shouldn’t have grown. 

If Pinocchio says, “My nose will grow now,” but his nose doesn’t grow, then his statement was a lie. His nose should have grown. 

Look at the picture. That's exactly what would happen. Sawdust.
