You Rule

Dunno why, but Kari makes fun of my carpenter pants. “You’re not a carpenter,” she says. “Why do you wear carpenter pants?” Maybe to put my phone in that cute little side pocket if my phone wasn’t the size of a brick.

In setting up scenes for stop-motion video, I do a lot of measuring. I've been using a 15cm ruler, a 12” ruler, a 36” yardstick and a tape measure. That’s four different measuring devices, three of which are always in front of me when I need the other one.

I had a great idea. What I need is a folding carpenter’s ruler. I could use that in just about every emergency measuring situation going on here at the Animation Station. Perfect, eh? I mentioned this to Kari.

She couldn’t be more amazing. She finds a folding carpenter’s ruler somewhere. Inches and metric, oh how perfect! What’s better? It’s New York City Taxi Cab yellow, I’ll never lose it.

Dunno why, but she makes fun of my carpenter pants. “You’re not a carpenter,” she says. “Why do you wear carpenter pants?” Maybe to put my New York City Taxi Cab yellow, 2-meter folding carpenter's ruler in that cute little side pocket.

Two feet in my shoes

With meters in my pocket

Only yards to go

Peace, Y’all!
