The National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players Association announced yesterday that a 56 game season would start on January 13. This may include a realignment of the seven Canadian teams into a division of their own in an effort to cut down travel and medical support for visiting teams. I think they're doing it right and it'll be a great season. Less than four weeks away.
