April showers bring May flowers. Mayflowers bring Pilgrims
I had a gig last night. Yesterday’s blog was all about that. This is about something else.
After I finished last night’s performance, I calmly checked in on the Nashville Predators vs Carolina Hurricanes game. The third period was starting, and the game was tied at one. I had the game set to record. No problem.
When I got home, I turned the GUIDE on the TV, trying to get to recordings. I see the game I’m looking for is still in progress, but right there coming up next, after the game, the game. I think Bally Sports Network likes me. It turns out the Carolina Hurricanes won both times.
What does that have to do with anything? Nothing. Maybe I should talk about flowers, eh?

Now the tulip bloom has faded. The pedal looks like wet satin. It’s still too beautiful to touch. 
Blooming flowers glow;
Spring, Her colors, hues, and shades
Paint the Earth anew.
