Kari may have often wondered how I know so much about opera. The Bugs Bunny Road Runner Show, of course. Would you believe that I had Kari singing opera this afternoon?
"North winds blow. West winds blow. Kill the rabbit! Kill the rabbit." She's pretty good. Kari was looking at my lightning box and lightning bolt cutout. I played with the light switch. I told her that lightning never strikes twice in the same place. I also learned that from Bugs Bunny.
It may be an odd way of going about this, but I needed a lightning strike for one of the scenes in "Bring the Rain." I cut out the lightning bolts, then sandwiched the paper between two pieces of mylar. I used a cardboard box with a lamp inside. It seems to have worked.
